The Big Track runs close to three of Nottingham's major art galleries - Nottingham Castle, the Djanogly gallery at the University of Nottingham - and it will soon run close to the brand new Centre for Contemporary Arts in the Lace Market, too.
There is also art around The Big Track itself, thanks to a project called Hinterland that has been running along the River Trent, curated by Jennie Syson.
The Hinterland project has provided a temporary site for artists to explore themes of neighbourhood, territory and peripheral space, as well as the connections between town, country and suburbia.
